Evan grew up in an early 18th century farmhouse, instilling an appreciation for buildings, architectural styles and a fascination with the interaction between buildings and their residents over time. Naturally drawn to the beauty of fabrics and textures, she started her interior design firm. Evan believes that our homes should be designed holistically so that they are comfortable, inviting and beautiful.  Interiors should be designed that that they reflect the people who live there—their values, budget, tastes and lifestyles.

Evan’s love of nature led her to learn about sustainable construction strategies so that homes are filled with beautiful finishes but also are healthy environments that conserve the earth’s natural resources. She became credentialed as a Building Performance Institute MultiFamily Building Analyst and a LEED Green Associate.

Having gained a masters in urban planning and design, Evan has managed many building projects throughout her life. She designs to bring the outside in—she even conducted research that shows that even seeing green reduces stress and instills a sense of well-being. Holistic design withstands the test of time—it is comfortable and inviting and becomes a part of the soul.
